The week 14 waiver wire is going to be more shallow than in weeks past. As the end of the season nears, we will find less viable players on our waiver wires weekly. We know who all the breakouts are and it is rare to see someone burst onto the scene this late into the season. Injuries are just a part of the game and there are always going to be at least a few viable options to bolster your squad going into the next week.

Adam Theilen went down with a high ankle sprain early in the game against the Lions. It just so happens the Vikings have a short turnaround in a Thursday Night matchup against a very tough Pittsburg defense. Justin Jefferson will command a lot of coverage and it should free up Osborn to make a statement for more playing time in the future without Thielen in the fold for at least this week.
Russell Gage
Gage has quietly done a nice job the last few weeks. It has gone largely unnoticed since the Falcons have just not been good. He has received 5,6 and 11 targets in the last three weeks. In the last two weeks, it has translated to 6/62/1 and 11/130, respectively. His usage has been increasing since teammate Cordarrelle Patterson returned from injury and he is worth a pickup at the very least. He is still a volatile option and may not be ready to start yet, but he remains an intriguing option as a week 14 waiver wire pickup.
Nick Westbrook-Ikhine
Westbrook-Ikhine is here out of pure necessity and a lack of other options on this Titans team. Julio has been designated to return, but it is unclear when exactly he will be activated. NWI could see more work after getting a bye week in to work more with the first-team offense.
Josh Reynolds
Reynolds came over to Detroit and immediately had an impact on the team with a 39-yard touchdown on Thanksgiving. He followed it up with a solid 4 catches for 69 yards against the Vikings. He played with QB Jared Goff in LA for four seasons and has a good rapport with him. I think Reynolds is already the best receiver on this team and will continue to see his role grow within the offense. Worst case, he has a great chance of seeing a good chunk of garbage time yardage. Reynolds is still widely available and is probably being discarded because he plays for the Lions.
