The Green Bay offense has been offensive to watch. Luckily for them, their 2nd round rookie WR has taken center stage and is primed to take over this season. Green Bay of course went defense with not one, but two picks in the first round of the NFL draft in April 2022. The Christian Watson fantasy relevance is now front and center as he is the key to the Packers success moving forward. He stands at 6’4” and runs a legit 4.3. This dude can move and is in a prime position to propel the Packers and your fantasy team into the playoffs.
Watson’s season was off on the wrong foot due to a back injury (in preseason) and then dropping a sure touchdown on the first play of the season. With Rodgers’ sensitivity and disdain for young receivers, the Christian Watson fantasy outlook was not great going into the season.

After a 4 catch, 108 yards, and 3 TD performance, we are wondering: Will this continue? I think yes. Here is why:
- There is no other speed threat outside of maybe Aaron Jones
- The other top receivers are Allen Lazard, Randall Cobb, and Romeo Doubs and the last two have missed or will miss multiple games
- Aaron Rodgers not only has a rocket arm but also has pinpoint accuracy
- His performance against Dallas gives Aaron confidence in him
The loss to Detroit was rock bottom. Getting him involved is the only hope in saving their season and getting a wild card birth out of the NFC. This translates directly to the rising of Christian Watson fantasy value for the remainder of the season. Waivers leading into week 11 have already run, so I hope you were able to get him. The hope that he continues being a big part of the offense. I worry about him going up to a quietly improved Titans defense on a short week, but I have faith. A player like Aaron Rodgers will find a way to beat you as he always did with Davante Adams.
