Fantasy football week 11 Start ‘Em & Sit ‘Em is here! Our week started with the Patriots traveling to Atlanta to take on the Falcons. Here at TGIS Football, the Thursday night breakdowns cover start ’em sit ’em options for that game.

If you are wondering about a player that has an injury designation, check out my injury report article for week 11 that drops every Saturday. It is a second start ’em & sit ’em but for injured players. Please note that obvious stars such as Christian McCaffrey, Cooper Kupp and Patrick Mahomes are not going to be featured in these articles.

Start ‘Em

Dan Arnold

Dan Arnold has become a top target for Trevor Lawrence. He has posted at least 60 yards in four of his last five games. He has yet to find the end zone, but that time is coming for him. In half or full point PPR, this kind of production is more than you can get from most tight ends, let alone someone I just picked up off two waiver wires for my own use (still only 40% rostered).

Christian Kirk

As long as Deandre Hopkins is out, Kirk is a great play. It looks like we will see Kyler Murray back in action this week against the Seahawks, so that helps his value too. As of today, Hopkins is looking like he will be out so he can take the week 12 bye to fully heal up. If Colt McCoy ends up starting, then we may need to pivot from a start em’ to a sit ’em.

D’Onta Foreman

I love a good comeback story. This kid has juice, and he looks even better when you see him run the ball after having to watch 36 year old Adrian Peterson run with it. I featured Foreman in my waiver target article earlier this week and now he has a juicy matchup against his former team. Though he has only played in two games, his usage went from five carries to 13 against a couple of tough run defenses. Even if you don’t play him this week, worth the stash if he is still available.

Brandon Aiyuk

This is one of the more disappointing players this season. The match up is friendly this week and this could be the beginning of a second half surge for the whole 49er squad. Aiyuk is still as boom or bust as they come, but he has to get involved if San Francisco wants to make the playoff push. Not all of their games can be won through their defense capitalizing on other team’s mistakes.

Tyler Lockett

We all know Tyler Lockett is inconsistent, but in a way, all wide receivers are. Now that Russell Wilson is back and has a full game of action post injury, he should bounce back in a home game hosting the Cardinals. Lockett’s production really does come in larger than average bursts, and it just so happens he did that last year against the Cardinals.

Kadarius Toney

Toney has yet to put up a solid game since his breakout against the Cowboys all the way back in week five. His games following that performance have declined each week from 36, 26 and 9 yards. The last game was on only one target. The rest of the team around him is getting healthy and it only makes his situation murkier as we progress.

Mike Williams

I gave Williams one last chance against a vulnerable Vikings defense last week and he let me down. He is not the same player he was at the beginning of the year. I am not sure if it really is an injury or the offense (which I have heard whispers that the league is catching up to new coordinator Joe Lombardi’s offense) that is holding him back. Williams may make a splash play here and there but can’t be trusted weekly.

Marvin Jones Jr.

Jones has had 35 or less receiving yards in five of his last six games. The outlier game is his lone 100 yard game of the season. His production has dipped in favor of Dan Arnold in these recent weeks. Right now, only James Robinson is a locked in fantasy starter for this team that can be depended on. Marvin has had a history of scoring a lot of touchdowns in short bursts, so anything is possible…

Zack Moss

The Bills are a throwing team and only run the ball when they need to. This just isn’t the week for Moss to get that score to save his day. The Colts are a top run defense and the Bills will put in the bare minimum needed to set up their passing attack. Now with the emergence of Matt Brieda, it cuts into Moss’s load even more.

Adrian Peterson

Peterson is a future hall of famer, but he is no longer the fantasy asset he once was. He is a pure touchdown dependent flex starter at best. Teammate D’Onta Foreman is clearly the most capable back on the roster and Peterson is going to settle into a nice low volume role to get a few touchdowns here and there.
