Start and Sit Lineup Decisions

Your week 10 start and sit decisions are here. Let’s take a dive into this week’s favorable and bad matchups. Obvious stars such as Christian McCaffrey and Cooper Kupp are not featured in these articles. The Thursday Night players are broken down in the TNF breakdown.

Mike Williams

After a hot start to the season, Mike Williams has cooled off and had a few down games for the Chargers. The broadcast team from the previous game against the Eagles suggested that he has been dealing with a knee injury. This week, they are hosting the Vikings and their 28th ranked defense. As of now, he carries no injury designation and is ready to play.

J.D. McKissic

Over the last three games, McKissic has averaged 8 targets out of the backfield. That is a trend likely to continue against a stout Tampa Bay front. A fine flex play for his receiving volume alone. Some would say he is the second receiving option behind Terry McLaurin, and I agree.

Tony Pollard

Main running back Ezekiel Elliott has a minor knee contusion that limited him late in the blowout against the Broncos last week. That injury can continue to limit him and open up the door for Pollard to get some more work. He is electric with the ball in his hands and the Cowboys can’t deny him more opportunities. I fully expect the Cowboys offense to rebound against a lesser Falcons team.

Jerry Jeudy

Jeudy had a fine day against Dallas catching six of eight targets for 69 yards (nice). Fellow receiver Tim Patrick has been limited with a knee injury and it can lead to more targets. I would look for Jerry Jedy to continue building on these performances as he works back into full game shape.

Dalton Schultz

Everyone is going to get their share against the Falcons this week! Schultz has been held out of the end zone since week four, but continues to be a trusted target for Dak Prescott. For a tight end, consistent passing volume is all we can ask for and Schultz has been that surprise fantasy asset this season.

DJ Moore

QB woes continue to kill DJ Moore’s value. His only hope is if Cam Newton plays this week. He draws another tough matchup against Arizona, but he has demonstrated consistency with multiple high-floor performances. If you are in full or half-point PPR, he fits the mold. If not, the 60-receiving yard floor may not get it done because he has shown that he does not find the end zone as much as we would like (only four touchdowns each of the last two seasons).

Darrell Williams

The Chiefs need to run the ball if they are going to win. Recently, they have been doing so and it has translated to (ugly) wins. Defenses are playing two deep safeties and daring them to be patient and run the ball. In the last two games, Williams has received 19 and 22 touches. He is an RB2 starter until Clyde Edwards-Helaire comes back next week.

Jordan Howard

Jordan Howard has enjoyed great success the last couple of weeks. This is the week it can all come crashing down. I do not trust this Eagles team fantasy wise because Howard is splitting carries with Boston Scott. Both saw double digit carries the last two weeks and that could change if this team falls behind in a game.

Hunter Henry

Hunter Henry has been a streamer for me this season. Every time I have checked it seems his stat line has been “catches two of three targets for 22 yards and a score.” He is a touchdown-dependent weekly play if you can’t find anyone else. Otherwise, I would not start.

Antonio Gibson

Gibson has been nursing a hairline fracture in his shin. I am surprised he did not just go on IR for three weeks to rest it. He does not get a lot of passing down opportunities because the team employs J.D. Mckissic for that. Tampa Bay has a great run-stopping front and that really lessens Gibson’s value for this week.

Mike Davis

Davis’s production has fallen off with the emergence of Cordarelle Patterson as a WR/RB. He has a low floor with a very limited ceiling that is completely touchdown dependent. Davis has gone over 50 yards rushing just once and has seen the end zone as many times.
